Scalloped Square Ironstone Bowl (c.1800s)
Sorry, this item has SOLD
Our vintage ironstone collection is hand picked one by one from estate sales, flea markets and second hand shops. Beautifully aged with cracks and chips, all have the marks of time and use.
This particular Alfred Meakin square bowl was made in England in the late 1800s and is in remarkable shape for its age. A pretty little thing, the scalloped edges give a playful feel. Add to your mix and match rotation for your next dinner party.
Heavy and substantial, the inherent markings and discolorations are the backbone of old stoneware.
