Early McCoy Pottery Hanging Planter (c.1920s)

Rush Creek Vintage

Sorry, this item has SOLD

Our early McCoy hanging pottery planter is a real workhorse all year long, showing off your houseplants or summer blooms, inside or out.

The pot has three raised rings around the rim and a leaf and berry design on the front and back, with a brown and green matte glaze finish. There are three holes for hanging the planter near the rim, plus small feet on the bottom to balance the pot if you choose to use it as a "sitter" and not hang it.

Rustic and earthy with understated elegance, this lovely art pottery is early McCoy at its best. Popular during the Arts and Crafts movement, it remains highly collectible today. What a great piece of pottery history to own!

The Nelson McCoy Sanitary and Stoneware Company was established 1910 in Roseville, Ohio. For more information on vintage and antique McCoy art pottery, visit the McCoy Pottery website.
