Build your own winter wonderland with our vintage paper board houses from Japan. Often called Putz houses, this group of three houses and a church is a good start towards creating an entire village. Place among greenery, add a few bottle brush trees and you'll have a village scene from long ago.

Popular in the 1950s, these are made from heavy paper board, paint, mica glitter, cellophane for the windows and a loofah tree. Each house has a hole on the back to allow room for lights to be placed inside. The tallest square blue house has a hanging wire on the back so it can be used as an ornament. (Actually you can make them all ornaments if you're crafty)...
