Mid Century design at its best, this original lucite swag light will get your party going! Imagine our turquoise light casting a spell over your guests... might be time for a slow dance and another Tom Collins!
The spun lucite design, often called a spaghetti lamp, was popular during the 50s through 60s. Hard to find, especially in such excellent condition. Includes the original lighting fixture (it works!) and and extra long cord.
- ONE mid century spun lucite swag light in turquoise plus original light fixture and cord with chain (as shown)
Very good condition with overall wear consistent with age and use. The spun lucite (or spaghetti) is intact without breaks, chips or loss. The lighting fixture and chain are both brass colored metal; the cord is gold. The light fixture is a bit loose but can be tightened with proper tools. We tried a 60w bulb and it works! (You may want to replace the electrical components if used regularly.) The spaghetti shade shows age related soil and residue, easily cleaned with sponge or dry paint brush.
