Nature and history combine to create a captivating glimpse into a rural mountain village. Our vintage landscape painting depicts a scene from long ago near the base of glorious snow capped mountains (possibly a hill station).
Sadly, after much research, we're unable to pinpoint the artist or location of this beautiful image. Our best guess is Colonial India or Western South America where agriculture and farming was prevalent.
Painted in oil on canvas, the entire picture has pinkish undertones. Illegibly signed by the artist (last photo). Lucky for you, it would look fabulous mixed in with modern decor.
